Photographed by the New York Navy Yard on 13 July 1945, her commissioning date.

USS Belle Isle (AG-73)

Probably photographed in San Francisco Bay upon her return there in April 1946.
She supported Pacific Fleet ships at Okinawa and in Japan between October 1945 and March 1946. Note the radar antennas on the radar test stands on the bow.

USS Coasters Harbor (AG-74)

Photographed soon after World War II.
This vessel supported ships at Sasebo, Japan, from October 1945 to March 1946 and returned to San Pedro, California, in September 1946 after participating in Operation "Crossroads" (the Bikini atomic bomb tests).

USS Cuttyhunk Island (AG-75)

Alongside a possible sister in 1945-1946.
This vessel saw only brief service in the Atlantic before reporting to Orange, Texas, for decommissioning on 31 January 1946. She is probably shown at Orange in 1946 alongside either Indian Island or Kent Island.

USS Avery Island (AG-76)

In San Francisco Bay in 1945-1946.
After one voyage to Japan in late 1945, this ship was refitted at San Francisco between December 1945 and May 1946 to support Operation "Crossroads." She returned to San Francisco in August 1946 to begin a lengthy decommissioning process that included radiological decontamination in November 1946.

USS Indian Island (AG-77)

In San Francisco Bay in December 1945.
The ship made one troop carrying voyage to Shanghai, China, and Sasebo, Japan, before arriving at Orange, Texas, on 2 January 1946 to begin decommissioning.

USS Kent Island (AG-78)

In San Francisco Bay circa December 1945.
The ship made one troop carrying voyage to Okinawa before proceeding to the east coast in January 1946 and arriving at Orange, Texas, on 15 March 1946 to begin decommissioning.
