S.S. Victorious (ID-3514)
Probably photographed upon completion in October 1918 and just before delivery to the Navy for service in the Naval Overseas Transportation Service.
Note the empty gun platform forward. This ship was rebuilt as a passenger-cargo ship in 1931 and in 1940 became USS George F. Elliott (AP-13).

The freighter Victorious after being rebuilt as a passenger-cargo ship in 1931.
She is shown at the Tidewater Terminal in Baltmore on 7 July 1932 preparing to sail for Europe. One of four ships converted by the Baltimore Mail Steamship Co., she had accommodations for 100 passengers. She became USS George F. Elliott (AP-13) in 1940.
