S.S. Undaunted (SP-1950)

Shown soon after completion in 1917, probably in San Francisco Bay.
Her smokestack wears the markings of her owner, the Rolph Navigation & Coal Co. of San Francisco. She and her sister Dreadnaught (SP-1951) were acquired by the Navy in early 1918. They were classified respectively AT-58 and YT-34 in 1920.

She had moved from San Francisco to Norfolk circa 1939 and operated in the vicinity of Norfolk, Baltimore, and Washington, D.C., during the war.
