Tug No. 50. Erecting the stem on the keel at the Industrial Department of the U.S. Naval Station, New Orleans, La. There is also a small sternpost in place.

Vertical, single-cylinder noncondensing steam engine for one of the three harbor tugs (Nos. 48-50) built by NAVSTA New Orleans, La. The cylinder is at the top and the propeller shaft at the bottom.
