Portuguese Medusa (A 5214) The support vessel (Navio de Apoio) NRP Medusa moored at the Alfeite Naval Base at Lisbon. She rarely if ever left Alfeite after arriving from the U.S. in 1959 because of the poor condition of her engines, structural problems, and navigational issues caused by her flat bottom.
