Note: The pre-1920 numbering system for Navy-built tugs continued after Tug No. 45 (Tug No. 19 class) with Harbor Tugs Nos. 46-85 and Motor Tugs Nos. 86-101. These along with Tugs Nos. 1-9 were small vessels that were always considered to be yard (service) craft and that were classified YT in 1920.
