US Army tug Sgt Fred N Coleman (LT 156)

Probably at Attu in the Aleutians after World War II. This wooden-hulled tug became USNS ATA 244 in 1951.

From the sale brochure dated 8 October 1960 for the tug in the Columbia River Group of the Pacific Reserve Fleet at Tongue Point, Astoria, Oregon. She is across a pier from a group of inactive LST's including one MSTS LST.

From the sale brochure dated 8 October 1960 for the tug in the Columbia River Group of the Pacific Reserve Fleet at Tongue Point, Astoria, Oregon. She is moored outboard of at least two inactive AKL's.
